Lazy Lioness

You know when you watch nature shows about lions in Africa and there's the lioness who just lays there in the shade, seemingly oblivious to the world, while the cubs play around her? That's me. When it's hot like this, I find myself sprawling out while Mason plays around me and climbs over me. Once in a while, I raise my head to give a growl or small roar when he gets into something he shouldn't; for example, his latest trick is to push toys through the cat door, and then cry when they disappear. Even if I retrieve the toy through the door, he takes it and shoves it right back through the door again. Sigh. Some cubs just don't learn.
