Hunter has always been one to lick herself a lot. She is an "extremely clean cat," according to the vet. So much licking, in fact, that she has licked bald her belly, the inside of her rear legs, and below her tail. This is called bald belly syndrome. There are several possible causes of this, and it's not clear which one is to blame. So, we are trying a medication that is part anti-anxiety and part antihistamine. While I want her to stop licking, I'm not sure how I feel about giving my cat brain candy...
